A party band for the New Millenium, this 22 year old band started by "Boomers" is now hitting its stride playing the music of the "Boomers. One foot of the band is firmly planted in that great rockin' bar band tradition with hit's like Brandy, Brown Eyed Girl, Domino, and Back in the USSR, among others. Leader Bart Rollins' is killer on their version of Lucille!

The other foot of the band is cemented in
classic funk and R&B from the 60's & 70's. Hits by Van Morrison, Wilson Pickett, The Commodores, Stevie Wonder, Martha & the Vandellas, Tower of Power, James Brown, Delbert McClinton, Huey Lewis, Aretha Franklin and more are dealt out with great flair by lead singers Tom "T.C." Smith and LeAnn Phelan.

These two fine singers can also be heard seasoning the evening with Standards as performed by Linda Ronstadt, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett and Natalie Cole.

Put studio caliber musicians on the Guitar (Richie  Parks), Keys (Moody Castleman), and Drums (Ray Crabtree), add the hippest horn section in town (John Neff, Tom Pallardy, Brad Stauffer and Allen Rumbaugh) and you've just mixed up one great band!

Speaking of mixing, the 1969 Band always sounds great "not too loud, not too soft"; due to the hands on
sound engineer Ray Dryden stationed out front keeping all the levels just right.

This 10 piece band is completely self contained: Lights, Sound, Backline, everything. They have different sized
gear for different sized venues. Rumor has it Bart has been looking for a bus... but Richie wants Elvis painted on the back... and Lee Ann wants her own stateroom with mirrors... John wants saxophones mounted where the air horns go... Moody wants fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror.... Allen wants it rigged with satellite and GPS gear... T.C. wants the girls on the left in his bunk... and on and on....
